Today is Senior Checkout. And as we do every year, keeping the tradition alive, the Seniors who I have in class get to leave their mark on the Ag Building by signing the Beams. It's always bitter sweet. They will all be missed but I know they will go on to do great things.

Serena just finished up this beautiful custom deer track belt for her Dad, Nathan today. Nathan bought this custom belt during our Annual FFA Dinner & Auction in February for over $300!! Thank you so much Nathan! Serena says she only had about 8 hours into it but I know it was so much more. She hand carved every single track. No stamp for that. Just skill and patience. Great Job Serena!

Sometimes its not all sunshine and roses at the Ag Building. Unfortunately, we lost our bee hives to a rapid cold snap this spring. Don't worry. We have replacement Nucs coming next week. In the meantime, we have been cleaning out the old brood boxes, washing queen excluders, and getting our hives ready to receive their new Nucs. Our beehives have been a source of great interest to many of our students and we're glad we can continue this neat project.

It’s plant sale time! Stop by anytime this week (Monday - Thursday, 8am-3pm) OR Saturday, 8-Noon.
