To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Azlyn, CISPA Community School Coordinator at Union Canal Elementary, organized a special activity for the students! She joined library classes, read Pablo's Tree, a story about family tradition, and talked about how different cultures, traditions, and families make their school community so special. Students also got to draw their own decorated trees and hung them up in the hallway!

Sam, our CISPA Site Coordinator at Ferguson Pre-K-8, had a wonderful time connecting with students and families at open house! From introducing families to CISPA and how we support students through academics, attendance, behavior, and community resources, it was a great opportunity to build relationships and kick off the school year. Sam joined the CISPA team in August, and he is so excited to work alongside the Ferguson Bearcats, their families, and school staff to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed! 🌟

After months of planning with school staff, community members, and students, our Lebanon team hosted the 3rd annual Lebanon School District Homecoming Parade, and it was amazing! The Homecoming Parade spreads joy, gives students a sense of pride, and boosts confidence before game day! The Cedar Spirit shines through each of the students, and this is just one way we can showcase it! 🤩

Alisa, CISPA Site Coordinator at Devers Pre-K-8, created a welcoming and fun environment for back-to-school night so students and their families felt prepared and excited to kick off the school year! 📚✏️

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the rich histories, cultures, contributions, and stories of Hispanic and Latino communities across the country.

In schools and communities nationwide, Hispanic and Latino students, families, educators, and leaders continue to shape what is possible for the next generation. We’re proud to celebrate their voices, honor their heritage, and recognize the impact they make every day.
