Sprocket Mural Tours are back!

Join us during 3rd in The Burg this Friday, May 15 from 6-7p.m. to learn how Sprocket’s Midtown Harrisburg’s murals came to be!

We’ll meet at the Broad Street Market at 6pm. The event is rain or shine.

This tour will focus on our southern Midtown murals, including Bryan “King Prolifik” Hickman’s Raffia mural, Arthur Haywood IV’s Claiming the Stars mural, and more.

Suggested $15 donation.

Volunteer with Sprocket this Earth Day!
We need help cleaning up two Harrisburg mural sites:

• The Pollinators by Gloria Jean Martin.
(Located at Pocket Park, near Sayford Market.)

• We All Need Home by Stephen Michael Haas. (Located at
Hi-Voltage.)

Both cleanups take place on Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tasks will involve gardening tasks such as weeding!

The mural on the by is a beautiful portrayal of the joy of childhood wonder in his mural “Infinite Small Things.” Since the mural is right in front of an asphalt basketball court, Osiris was in the blazing heat, during a massive heat wave, with no shade cover for most of the painting this mural. He found creative ways to block from the shade as much as he could, including this fun contraption with a drop cloth!
