🐾🙏 Continued Prayers Needed for a Missing Pup in Grantville 🙏🐾

We are asking our community to continue keeping a missing dog and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Our Lost Pet Recovery Team has been actively assisting the family, alongside members of Find Toby, in an effort to bring this sweet girl home. Using our thermal drone, we have conducted multiple searches throughout the area surrounding Hollywood Casino in Grantville during both daylight hours and late into the night.

While there have been reported sightings of the pup, unfortunately we have not been able to locate her during our search operations. We remain committed to assisting in every way we can.

This situation is especially heartbreaking as the family is from the Maryland area and has been staying in their vehicle in the casino parking lot, holding onto hope and waiting for good news. The dog became separated from her owner following a medical incident that occurred in the casino parking area.

Please keep this family in your prayers as they navigate this difficult time. Pray for the volunteers and teams working tirelessly to locate her, and most importantly, pray that this beloved pup is found safe and reunited with her family soon. She is deeply loved and terribly missed.

🐾 Please Keep Two Special Families in Your Thoughts and Prayers 🐾

Over the past few days, Operation Light of Hope – Disaster Relief has had the privilege of assisting two families who are desperately searching for their beloved fur babies.

Our first mission took us to the Lewistown area, where a family has been missing their pup for nearly a week. Our team spent several hours on-site utilizing our thermal drone in an attempt to locate their dog. We searched heavily wooded areas, riverbanks, and even a salvage yard while following up on possible sightings. While we were not successful in locating the pup, we continue to keep this amazing family in our prayers.

One thing we’ve learned through our Lost Pet Recovery Program is that when you spend time with families during these difficult moments, you quickly realize that these aren’t “just pets”—they are family members. You get to know the people behind the search, hear their stories, and feel the heartbreak and hope they carry each day.

Our second mission this week brought us to the area near Hollywood Casino, where a dog has been missing for nearly two weeks. This is an especially heartbreaking situation, as the pup became separated from her owners after one of them suffered a fall and required medical treatment. Since then, dedicated searchers have been working tirelessly to bring her home.

We were honored to assist alongside the incredible team from Find Toby, who requested our drone services to help search for the missing dog. Their team has been working tirelessly to locate and safely recover this precious pup.

We ask that you join us in praying for both of these families—that their pets are safe, that sightings continue to come in, and that these beloved companions are reunited with their families soon.

We are also incredibly blessed to be able to offer our drone search services completely free of charge to families in need. While we understand that many drone pilots rely on their services as a source of income, we never want a family’s ability to search for a missing pet to be determined by their financial situation. Thanks to your generous donations, support, and prayers, we can continue providing these services at no cost and bring hope to families during some of their most difficult days.

Operation Light of Hope – Disaster Relief has officially launched our Hero Snack Pack Program! 🇺🇸💙
These grab-and-go pouches are assembled to help provide hydration and nutrition to our heroes as they operate at incident scenes for extended periods of time. Whether they are firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement officers, emergency management teams, or disaster relief volunteers, these snack packs help keep them fueled while they serve our communities.

Each Hero Snack Pack may include:
✅ Bottled Water
✅ Gatorade or Electrolyte Drinks
✅ Granola Bars
✅ Protein Bars
✅ Crackers or Peanut Butter Crackers
✅ Trail Mix
✅ Beef Jerky
✅ Fruit Snacks

🐾❤️ FOUND SAFE! ❤️🐾

We are overjoyed to share that Marley, the missing dog from Chambers Hill, has been found safe and is back home with her family!

After reaching out to check in with the family, we were preparing for another search mission tonight using our thermal drone. However, God had other plans. While Marley’s family continued their search on foot, surrounded by loved ones and determined not to give up, they heard the familiar jingle of her collar. Moments later, they were able to locate her and bring her safely home.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who shared posts, offered support, and most importantly, prayed for Marley’s safe return. Today, those prayers were answered. Our amazing Lord provided exactly what was needed and reunited Marley with the family that loves her so much.

This is a wonderful reminder to never lose hope and to keep the faith, even when the situation seems difficult.

🐾 We Didn’t Just Launch Our Lost Pet Recovery Team — We’re Officially Up and Running! 🐾

Over the past week, our Lost Pet Recovery Team has already been called upon to assist two families searching for their beloved dogs.

On Saturday, our team responded to a call for two missing dogs. Faced with thick foliage, challenging terrain, and darkness, our drone team spent several hours searching from the air. While we were unable to directly locate the dogs during our operation, we are happy to share that after being missing for more than 12 hours, both dogs safely returned home shortly after our search efforts concluded.

Today, we assisted another family whose 16-year-old fur baby had been missing for more than 24 hours before our team became involved. Despite extensive efforts, we were unfortunately unable to locate her today. We remain hopeful that additional sightings will be reported and that we can continue assisting the family in bringing her safely back home.

🐶 About Our Lost Pet Recovery Program
Our mission is simple: help reunite families with their beloved pets using the tools, resources, and volunteers available to us. Through the use of drones, search strategies, community outreach, and teamwork, we strive to provide hope during what can be an incredibly stressful time.

📌 If your pet goes missing, here are a few important tips:
• Contact us as soon as possible—the earlier we can assist, the better.
• Avoid large search parties that may unintentionally push a scared pet farther away.
• Leave familiar scents outside, such as bedding, toys, or unwashed clothing.
• Keep food and water available near the location where the pet was last seen.
• Report all sightings with as much detail as possible, including location and time.
• Share clear, recent photos when requesting assistance.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service will never be forgotten.

I always talk about the importance of partnerships, and this partnership is extra special to us. 💛

Paradise Stream Family Campground has always been one of the very first to step up and support Operation Light of Hope - Disaster Relief. Cloyd Bowsman and Emma Jayne Bowsman have continuously supported our mission by allowing us to host fundraising events, blessing us with donations, and even becoming part of our team family.

They both have an incredible passion for helping others and an amazing relationship with our incredible Lord. Their hearts for service and compassion truly shine through everything they do, and we are beyond thankful for their continued support.

This coming weekend, they are once again opening their campground to help us raise much-needed funds for future disaster relief deployments. If you’ve been watching the news lately, you know communities across the country continue to be devastated by tornadoes, floods, wildfires, and other disasters. Families are losing homes, belongings, and their sense of stability in a matter of moments.

Operation Light of Hope is preparing resources to respond and help families in crisis, and this fundraiser will help provide the tools, equipment, fuel, trailers, and supplies needed to serve those affected.

💛 But this fundraiser does so much more than support disaster relief efforts. It also allows us to help local families in need by providing clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, backpacks, food, and other much-needed essentials to families going through difficult times. Every dollar raised helps us continue being the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities and beyond.

✂️💙 Operation Light of Hope is incredibly excited to once again partner with HiLites Hair Studio for their Fourth Annual “Cuts In Kindness” event!

The amazing stylists at HiLites Hair Studio will be providing FREE back-to-school haircuts for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. This event is designed to support children in our community who may be facing financial hardships or who have experienced bullying because of their appearance.

Haircuts will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Please keep in mind that time is limited and assess your needs accordingly.

🎒 In addition to the free haircuts, Operation Light of Hope will be onsite providing backpacks filled with school supplies, along with snacks for the children and families attending. Our mission is to help ensure every child starts the school year with the supplies and support they need to succeed and feel confident walking into the classroom. 💙

📚 We are currently accepting donations of NEW school supplies at all events Operation Light of Hope attends throughout the summer as we work to fill as many backpacks as possible for local students in need. We will also be accepting supplies for teachers, as many educators personally provide cleaning supplies and special classroom items for their students throughout the school year.
