VFW Auxiliary - Department of Pennsylvania We assist veterans and their families.

The VFW Auxiliary is one of the nation’s oldest veterans’ service organizations and
our members are the relatives of those who have served in overseas combat. We
have nearly 465,000 members nationwide who volunteer millions of hours and
fundraise millions of dollars for charitable projects that benefit veterans, military
service personnel, and their families. Through our National Programs, we assist the VFW pass or block legislation that
impacts veterans and their families, provide nearly a million volunteer hours in
the VA medical system, conduct patriotic programs with thousands of students
and offer hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships for our nation’s youth. With more than 4,000 Auxiliaries, there is likely one in your area working to
improve the lives of America’s uncommon heroes.

SUPPORTING THOSE WHO SERVE!

Making a Difference in Our Community!

Mt. Union VFW Auxiliary 5754 President Lee Moore proudly presents a donation check to Tom Adams, President of the Prough Response Foundation.

Also pictured are Cathy Rhymer, Auxiliary Treasurer, and Joe Pine, Vice President of Prough Response.

The Prough Response Foundation, based in Huntingdon, PA, was established in loving memory of Timothy Prough, who struggled with his mental health and sadly lost his battle.

In his honor, the foundation provides opportunities for self-care while raising funds for su***de prevention and other vital support services for first responders, active-duty military personnel, and veterans.

💙 Through compassion, awareness, and community support, the Prough Response Foundation is helping make a difference in the lives of those who dedicate themselves to serving others.

Thank you to Mt. Union VFW Auxiliary 5754 for supporting such a meaningful cause!

Together, we can make a difference.
