Spirited Hungarian folk music meets the richness of the symphony in Zoltán Kodály’s 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘢𝘭𝘢́𝘯𝘵𝘢. Evoking the Romani verbunkos dances of Kodály’s childhood, the piece features a soulful solo clarinet that beckons on a whirl of orchestral energy. Don’t miss this rousing opener to the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra’s 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗿 Masterworks concerts on Jan. 10 & 11. Tickets available online at bit.ly/43IEeYe.
