Today’s meeting of the Rotary Club of Colonial Park was honored to have Bill Bostic of the Linglestown Gazette speak. Bill spoke about the importance of local/neighborhood news to keep a community connected and bonded on a personal level in a world of hyper connectivity through the internet and smartphones. It was a message of the importance of being aware and informed every day issues effecting the communities we live in can help everyone.

Take me out to the ballgame!!!

Today 14 members of the Rotary Club of Colonial Park were visited by the President of the Harrisburg Senators, Kevin Kulp!

kevin talked about how he got started in minor league baseball as well as what it’s like being an affiliate for an MLB team, the Washington Nationals. He discussed how players can come through the minor league system and some of the ins and outs of what the clubs do during the season!

Yesterday’s meeting of the Rotary Club of Colonial Park was attended by 13 club Rotarians, 2 visiting Rotarians and 2 guests.

Detective Clee Tilman from the Susquehanna Township Police Deoartment spoke about the various ongoing fraud schemes that are prevalent today. He spoke about ways to identify these scams and how to protect yourself from them.
