Harrisburg ICO Harrisburg ICO is an all-volunteer, outdoor educational program providing opportunity for urban youth to explore, enjoy and learn about the natural world.

Harrisburg Inner City Outings was founded in 1996 to encourage and develop a love for nature and the outdoors in urban youth. Since 1996, our well-trained, screened, Certified Leaders have taken hundreds of urban youth participants on hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, camping trips and service outings. HICO is an all volunteer group, with no office nor paid staff. HICO raises the funds needed to

support outings expenses through local donations, local fundraising and grant writing. HICO is a urban youth outreach program associated with Sierra Club.
