This is the testimony of Diaa al-Kahlut, a 38 year old father of five and journalist from Gaza who was kidnapped and tortured by israel. Over the next few weeks, HPC will continue to share and uplift these stories of Palestinians taken hostage by zionists. Please witness and share these stories and let them move you to commit to doing the work to end the genocide and occupation of Palestine.

In addition to producing bombs used to commit genocide in Palestine, General Dynamics produces weapons and technology which uphold the police state, including funneling weapons to cops who disproportionately use those weapons against Black communities. GD also upholds the legacy of slavery by exploiting incarcerated people for their labor. Join us in Red Lion at 9:30 AM for a Juneteenth picket to demand an end to these fascistic practices and to remind the world that the liberation of all colonized and oppressed peoples is intertwined.

Then, join us at the Dauphin County Prison at 5 PM as we join and other local orgs at the annual Juneteenth rally to show love for our incarcerated neighbors and draw attention to the many systemic issues plaguing DCP.

New picket times and dates!

The fight for an arms embargo rages on as the bombs used to commit the genocide continue to be built right here in our back yards in Pennsylvania. We cannot allow our communities and tax dollars to be used to inflict this suffering on the Palestinian people, and on the other targets of Zionist aggression. The genocide will only end when we disarm and defund the imperialist forces that are inflicting it. Do your part! Join the pickets!!

On May 26, Harrisburg Palestine Coalition gathered at the Holocaust Memorial and read the testimonies of some of the Palestinians held hostage in israeli torture camps. We came together because the recent death penalty law, widely recognized as an apartheid law, has drawn international attention to the plight of Palestinians suffering under israeli occupation. Many are held in administrative detention, which means they are being held without charge or trial. Hundreds are children, some as young as pre-teens. israel has no right to charge and indict people in a land that they occupy, so all political prisoners in Occupied Palestine are inherently hostages. The conditions that Palestinians hostages are held in are deplorable- these are not prisons, they are torture camps. The Holocaust Memorial calls on all people to ensure that the atrocities N**i Germany committed will never again be repeated. This is why we stand for Palestinian liberation.

Harrisburg Palestine Coalition will begin sharing some of the testimonies spoken at the vigil as a way to honor their lived experiences. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for these stories and keep uplifting and spreading awareness of Palestinian hostages living under israeli oppression.

🚨YOUR PARTICIPATION MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE🚨

Over the last year of confronting General Dynamics, we have seen numerous small wins and moments where we have made a real difference in their ability to slaughter Palestinians and other targets of genocidal American-Zionist aggression. But in order to build on our momentum and make an even bigger impact, we need your help! People power is the number one factor that can elevate a picket and apply the pressure needed to effect real change. If you are tired of your tax dollars funding genocide; if you are tired of seeing bombs being dropped on families; if you are tired of those bombs being built IN OUR OWN COMMUNITY; then join the pickets! Confront the weapons manufacturers directly! Our politicians are bought by this industry. It’s on each of us to stop it.

On Sunday, April 26 at 2 PM, HPC and other local groups working for Palestinian liberation will be hosting a vigil in response to the new Zionist death penalty law for Palestinian hostages held in captivity in IOF prisons and camps. This law has been widely described as an apartheid law, and a step toward final solution laws. Join us at the Holocaust memorial along the Susquehanna River, near the intersection of Front and Sayford Streets, to hear testimonies of Palestinians who have been kidnapped and imprisoned by Zionist colonial forces.

The Holocaust memorial in Harrisburg states that “the Holocaust can happen again to anyone anywhere.” As the Zionists commit a Holocaust in Palestine, we recognize that these words are more than a warning; they are a call to action. Join us on April 26, hear the stories of the Palestinians targeted by this barbaric law, and leave with new knowledge on how to resist these atrocities and make a material impact to put a stop to them.

At our pickets in Red Lion, the Pennsylvania State Police demonstrate the true function of cops in our society: the protection of property and capital, not the people. All over the United States, the masses who protest for Palestine and stand up against genocide are confronted by cops of all levels, from municipal to state to federal. Rather than arrest the perpetrators of mass murder and ethnic cleansing, the police attack those who have the courage to challenge the imperialist death machine. They do this because they know that if enough of us come together and say no more, we can put an end to the barbarism and genocide.

General Dynamics produces weapons of genocide right here in our own backyard. If you are sick of your taxes and communities being used to slaughter people in Palestine and around the world, join our picket! We will be back at 7:30 AM on Thursday, March 26, with more regular pickets to follow.

We are quickly approaching ONE YEAR of our arms embargo campaign against General Dynamics! Join the picket as we confront GD and push for an end to weapons of genocide being built right here in our own back yard in central Pennsylvania.

General Dynamics is the fifth largest arms manufacturer in the world. They produce weapons used to commit genocide in Palestine. They provide technology to ICE to help terrorize and separate families. They help arm police brutality and exploit prison slave labor. And they are destroying the environment at a time when climate collapse threatens us all. This is your fight too, so join us on the picket line!

🚨EMERGENCY RALLY🚨

No zionist imperialist war on Iran! The United States and israel continue to spread their genocidal terror across the region. As zionist settler-colonizers escalate their genocide, ethnic cleansing, and further annexation of Palestine, the bloodthirsty zionist project backed by the US has launched yet another barbaric war of aggression, this time against Iran. Those of us who live in the heart of the empire have a duty to resist in every way that we can to lift our boot off of the neck of the world! Join us at the capitol steps in Harrisburg this Monday, March 2, at 4:00 PM to demand an end to the war and for calls to action on how to push for an arms embargo. Without our money and our weapons, zionism will fall!

The legislation passed last night by the Harrisburg City Council is a first step toward the city acting to keep ALL of its residents safe from ICE. By adding amendments recommended by the community, including representatives from CASA and others, the council demonstrated their recognition that community feedback is necessary for strengthening the protections that we all deserve.

This is only the beginning, not the end, of the city’s responsibility to protect Harrisburg and its people.
We call on the council to return with even stronger amendments to make these protections robust, including a ban on immigration agents from all public property in the city, and an accountability framework to ensure these protections are not violated. There is so much at stake, and much more that can be done.

We urge everyone to remember that fascism is here, from Minneapolis to Harrisburg to Palestine, and that our safety and liberation ultimately fall on our own shoulders. Join an organization, get trained, meet and protect your neighbors, and continue to show up every way you can until we win the fight!
