A day celebrating dreams!💕

TFEC was proud to host the Grantee Breakfast for the Fund for Women & Girls. The celebration brought together nonprofit leaders, community connectors and people around us who care about the welfare of women and girls. The seven organizations that received grants in 2026 took the stage to share the life-changing work they do daily.💪👏

📣Shoutout to: Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library Bethesda Mission Blue Mountain Escape Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA) Healthy Steps Diaper Bank Diaper Depot at Central YWCA Carlisle & Cumberland County. The work you do holds this community together.

26 years in and our work isn't slowing down! 🏃‍♀️Be on the lookout for ways to connect with the Fund in 2027 and consider joining the Dream Team, the growing list of your peers who believe in and give back to the Fund for Women & Girls.

National Estate Planning Awareness Week is coming soon, and it is a reminder that “make a will” is good advice, but a thoughtful estate plan usually involves much more than a single document. If charitable giving matters to you, making sure all the pieces work together can be especially important.

Donor advised funds support the causes YOU love!💕

For Alysoun Mahoney, that means connecting with initiatives protecting animals and more. Her DAF, the Gregory J. Reiter Memorial Fund, honors her and her husband's commitment to making the world a better place. 🐾

Here's what Alysoun had to say:

"My late husband and I shared a passion for protecting animals, and for initiatives that also make the world a kinder place for people. I chose to move my DAF to TFEC, impressed by the organization's long history combined with a forward-thinking strategy. TFEC has helped me continue my charitable giving in support of initiatives including an annual animal rescue award and plant-based health education programs."

‼We encourage all DAF holders to share their story today!
