Coming Soon - A PD Registry Designation System Update!

Beginning Sept. 14, 2026, the PD Registry Designation System will be updated so that a program’s Valid Through Date reflects the date its next annual renewal is due. This means the Valid Through Date will move from three years in the future to one year in the future.

What’s not changing?
- This does not change the three-year validity of a Keystone STARS designation.
- Programs will continue to maintain their STAR designation as long as they complete their annual renewals and meet all other eligibility requirements.

No action is needed at this time. Programs should continue to follow their current renewal schedule.

Additional improvements to the Designation System will be introduced in January 2027, with more information to come as we get closer to implementation.

All questions can be sent via email to [email protected].
