JFS is seeking resource families open to becoming licensed providing respite, a high area of identified need in our area. This could look like a) emergency respite Friday-Tuesday when children come into care Friday afternoon and a county is short on time to find a good placement for siblings (eliminating the need to separate) 2) post-permanency respite for youth who have already been adopted so their adoptive parent can get a well-deserved break (more notice available here).
