Let the One who created you be the One who defines you.
Not other people or society!
God made you, so He is the only One who can say who you are and what your identity is.
Whenever you have a rough day trying to define yourself by worldly things, speak truth over yourself!
Talk to yourself the way God would.
Say, ""I am made in His image"" or ""My beauty is unfading"" or ""I am His prized possession"".

But what if we listened instead? What if we quieted ourselves long enough to listen to the gentle whisper of God, covered our faces, and humbly laid it all before Him, our worries and challenges, hopes and fears? Maybe we’d hear Him then. Maybe we’d bow our heads and receive a new lens, new ears, a new place to stand.
Maybe then we’d know what to do next.

This image reminds me of when I became a Mother. Life was super hard and a child brought me hope. A child gave me a reason to live and to keep pushing forward. God only knows where I would have been if not for a child.

Today I pray blessings over all the Mama's. The ones becoming Mother's, the ones that are already Mother's and the ones waiting to be a Mother. Through all of the laughter, tears, chasing, holding, praying and letting go, may your heart always be full and you always press forward.
