We are writing to announce the decision to conclude the Patrick Hannigan Memorial Golf Tournament and officially close the Patrick Hannigan Foundation. This decision comes as a result of recent changes in the lives and obligations of Patrick’s friends and family, leading us to feel that it is the right time to bring this chapter to a close.

We are incredibly proud of the impact we've made together over the last 11 years. Thanks to your unwavering support, we are pleased to report that the tournament and foundation have successfully donated over $100,000 to local charities dedicated to helping those fighting addiction.

Patrick would have loved seeing everyone gather and have fun, and the tournament was truly the best way to remember him. We hope that everyone who participated enjoyed the day each year. Though the foundation is coming to a close, we will never forget the joy and happiness Patrick brought to all his friends and family. He was truly one of a kind and will forever be missed.

To our family, friends, volunteers, and donors: thank you. Your generosity, time, and support have been the heart of our success. Without your enthusiasm and contributions—whether through donations, prizes, or volunteering—this incredible achievement would not have been possible.

We wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who attended the tournament! We were lucky to have a beautiful day. It was a great success and we were able to raise a ton of money for charities throughout the area. Thank you to ALL the sponsors, donors, golfers!! Also thank you to all the volunteers who took the time to help with set up, registration and clean up!

This has been the 10th year of the tournament and we could not have done it with all the help we've received throughout the years. So again THANK YOU!

As of now, tournament next year will be Saturday October 11th 2025 (Time TBD) MARK YOUR CALENDARS and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Although mother nature didn't cooperate, we still managed to have fun! Special thank you to all the donors/sponsors, volunteers and golfers that braved the elements. We grateful to have so many people that continue to support the tournament every year!

Hi Everyone!

We are just a few days away from the tournament! Just wanted to send out an update that the event will happen rain or shine! It is looking like the weather will not be the best but we will still plan to have the event as scheduled. A little rain won't hurt anyone 😉 but please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather!

Patrick Hannigan was born in Harrisburg Pennsylvania on August 31, 1990. He attended the Holy Name of Jesus grade school, Bishop McDevitt High School, and the University of Pittsburgh.
