For 130 years, Labor Day has been a federal holiday celebrating the workers who build this country and keep it running forward. Read about the history at the link below, and remember that Labor unions benefit all workers.
Unions brought us 40 hour work week, paid sick leave and vacation, and weekends as well as safety measures in workplaces, living wages, fair practices and due process at work. Yay, unions!
