Just a reminder that registration is open for the PA PTA in-person state convention on Saturday, April 18, in State College. Please remember that it’s DEFINITELY an acceptable use of your PTA’s funds to send your leaders to training! All members should have received the eblast provided in the link below. If you didn’t receive it - and check your spam folder too - that means that we do not have your email address & you’re missing out on any & all important information shared by your state Board of Directors!

There’s still time to get the Early Bird Discount for your registration for the National PTA Convention in Pittsburgh in June. Attending the National Convention is a wonderful experience & you won’t be able to do that in (or ever near) our home state of PA for MANY years! Please understand that it’s a legitimate use of your PTA funds to send your leaders for training. We encourage ALL PTAs to have a line item for Training in your budgets AND to allocate a decent amount of your funds for this VERY important expense! A reminder about our in-person state convention on 4/17-19 is coming next!

The PA PTA is excited to invite you to a Fall Training Refresher on Saturday, Oct 18 from 9 am-12 noon. We will start with a special guest from Givebacks to talk with you all about what all Givebacks has to offer. It is a great tool to use for many things. From 10-12, we will have some abridged officer trainings, membership open forum, information on becoming involved with the PA PTA state board & a Q&A session. We will also announce our $100 winner from those who applied for a National PTA Grant.
