This past weekend was our annual Lower Susquehanna Synod Assembly. Rostered and Lay leaders from across our synod gathered for worship, edification, and business of the synod. It was wonderful to hear from our Companion Synod, the Konde Diocese in Tanzania, and our Partner Synod, the Norther Illinois Synod of the ELCA. Saturday's closing worship included the ordination of Pastor Kimberly Todd, who we continue to pray for as she begins ministry together with the people in Myerstown where she has been called to serve. And, finally, a HUGE THANK YOU to our voting members from Epiphany, Christie and Tom Mellott, who diligently and faithfully served at the assembly.

Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1100 Colonial Road in Harrisburg is having a Drive-Thru Chicken BBQ on Saturday May 9th from 10:30am until ?. All dinners include 1/2 BBQ Chicken; Baked Potato; Apple Sauce; & a Dinner Roll. Donation per dinner is $12. All proceeds benefit Epiphany's Youth. Please come out & support the Youth Group. Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1100 Colonial Road in Harrisburg is having a Yard & Bake Sale this Saturday May 9th from 8am to Noon at the Church. Some of the Yard Sale treasures include Christmas decorations & household linens e.g. Towels, Wash Cloths, & bed sheets. Tasty Bake sale goodies will also be available to purchase at the Sale. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Eash Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Youth. Thank you for your support!
