The Rescue Medical Specialist (RMS) Team of Paramedics at LifeTeam EMS recently completed an intensive multi-agency trench rescue training exercise, focusing on complex patient assessment, critical care management, and challenging extrication operations.

While many know us for our commitment to 911 emergency response and patient transportation, LifeTeam EMS is proud to provide a multi-disciplined approach to specialty medical care. Our team continuously trains alongside regional partners to ensure we are prepared to deliver advanced medical support in high-risk, technical rescue environments when our communities need us most.

LifeTeam EMS — Honoring the 25th Anniversary of 9/11

Today marks 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001 — a day when our nation was shaken, hearts were broken, and countless lives were changed forever. The attacks carried out by Al‑Qaeda caused unimaginable loss, yet they also revealed something profound: the extraordinary courage and compassion that live within everyday people.

As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, LifeTeam EMS stands in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the survivors whose strength inspires us still. We honor the first responders — firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and medical teams — who ran toward danger without hesitation. Their bravery remains a guiding light for all of us who serve today.

For our LifeTeam EMS family, this day is a reminder of why we do what we do. It’s a reminder that service, sacrifice, and unity matter. It’s a reminder that in the face of darkness, we choose to be the ones who bring help, hope, and humanity.

We will never forget.
We will always honor.
And we will continue to serve with the same spirit of courage that defined that day.
