Today we completed the bagging for the 2025/2026 school year. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who make this program successful. We even have volunteers who take all of our boxes to recycling! We appreciate all of you.

We know it is a busy weekend but Caring for Kids will be bagging on Monday April 6, 2026 at 9am. We welcome any guests that may be visiting for the Easter Holiday. Wishing everyone a blessed weekend.

Caring for Kids needs individuals to pick up food at any Sam's Club. All you have to do is pull into a parking space and Sam's employees load the food items into your vehicle. Caring for Kids volunteers will then unload your car for you. This is a very easy way to help our mission of feeding food insecure students at Harrisburg Unit 3. Community helping community. We are so thankful for our dedicated volunteers and we had several new faces today. In an hour and a half our volunteers made 1480 food bags! Would you like to join us? It's the most wonderful time of the month! It is bagging day on Monday. Join us Monday December 8, 2025 9 am at Harrisburg First United Methodist Church to make food bags for students in Harrisburg Unit 3 schools.

Caring for Kids volunteers hosted the 2nd Annual Trivia Night on Saturday, Sept 13. Our Harrisburg First United Methodist Church family and Harrisburg community gave generously of their time and resources. We had over 100 attendees and so much fun. Thank you all.
