Today, GLO Harrisburg and the LGBT Center of Central PA celebrate everyone in the LGBTQ+ community and honor the courage it takes to live authentically.

Coming out looks different for everyone. For some, it’s a big moment, for others, it’s a personal journey that takes time. There is no right or wrong way to come out, and nobody should ever feel pressured to share their identity before they are ready.

Whether you are out, still figuring things out, or choosing to keep your identity private, you deserve love, respect, safety, and support exactly as you are.

Today and every day, we stand with our LGBTQ+ community. You belong here, your story matters, and you are never alone.

🎨 Feel free to share: Art, crafts, music, gaming, books, writing, favorite animals, movies, anime, collections, tech skills, or anything else that excites you!

🚫 No pressure: You do not have to perform, and you do not have to bring anything. Sharing is completely optional! You are always welcome to just come hang out, chat, and meet other youth in a safe, supportive space.

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
Responsibilities:

Site Care & Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Front Desk Coverage: Manage the reception area as needed, greeting visitors, answering basic questions, and routing inquiries.
Administrative Support: Support staff in data entry and file management duties.
Food Pantry Support: Assist with stocking, organizing, and distributing items within the food pantry.
Community Engagement: Support staff at on-site events, community tables, and special outreach events; help with setup, breakdown, and engaging with the public.
Other duties as assigned.
