From Dr. Rufus Lynch: Good News, Jeff Steiner, Executive Director, Dads Resource Center in State College Pennsylvania, and I had the privilege yesterday of witnessing the unanimous roll call vote of 203 members of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, all in agreement of the importance of fathers in the well-being of children, families and communities. It was quite an honor that the establishment of a Pennsylvania Commission to support greater father family involvement is well on its way through the legislative process. Within a week or so, we will start the campaign all over again, this time in the State Senate. Hope you all are well.

I wanted to share with you information from the PA Fathers, Families, and Service Providers Network (PFFSPN) and workshops that we have been working on to provide education and resources for fathers, families and those who work with fathers and families. The vision of the PFFSPN is that every child in Pennsylvania will grow and develop with healthy and active participation of an involved and committed father. I hope that you will take time to register for the three lunch and learn workshops that have been schedule leading up to the 6th Annual Symposium on child well-being scheduled for April 28-29, 2022 in Pittsburgh!
