- March 5 at noon, Widener's own Professor Francis will be moderating a discussion at the Harrisburg Lawyers Division on, The Evolving Second Amendment: Supreme Court Rulings, Gun Policy, and the Road Ahead. This event is hosted by the FedSoc Harrisburg Lawyers Division. There is a small cost of $25 for Non-Members or $10 for Members.
- Nominations for the Federalist Society Elections are now out! All positions are open for election: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Chair, and Lawyers Chapter Liaison. If you have any questions about the responsibilities for any of these positions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Margot Crouch at [email protected]. This is only the nomination stage. The campaign period will take place from March 17-19. Elections will take place from March 20-21.
- Thursday, March 27, Doug Bandow from the Cato Institute will join us for a lunch event at 1:00 pmin L204 for a conversation on religious persecution. Join us for some delicious food and a great discussion!
- Last, bust certainly not least, our final event of the semester will be with renowned constitutional scholar, Ilya Shapiro! Save the Date for April 24 th at 1:00 pm. Mr. Shapiro will be joining us for a conversation to discuss his new book, Lawless: The Miseducation of America's Elites. More information to follow!
