What a treat! 🍦

Pack 23 was surprised by such kind adults with an ice cream truck to celebrate one of our Scout's birthdays! Everyone at our Pack meeting was offered a sweet treat and the Scouts were let loose to play Steal the Bacon and Tag on the playground. What a wonderful day outside!

Last Wednesday, September 10, the new Scout Service Center at Camp Tuckahoe was rededicated at a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Local and Scouting leaders came out to share memories from their own times at Tuckahoe. What a lovely evening!

This weekend, our Webelos Den Leader, Mr. Jon, led us on a stream hike at St. Catherine's Park! 🧢 We found critters of all kinds including Water Pennies and Minnows. Mr. Jon even gave out a prize to the Scout who found the biggest Crayfish! Congrats goes out to Webelos Den member, Eli, for catching a 4 5/8" monster! 🦞

Pack 23 would like to shout a very loud THANK YOU to Corporal Pokrop and the Swatara Township K9 Unit, for visiting our Pack Meeting yesterday, March 30. We learned about finger printing, what K9s do, and we even got to give K9 Soul some love!
We love to have our neighbors in the community share their talents, skills, and stories with us, so if you or someone you know would like to volunteer for an afternoon of fun with Pack 23, please let me know!

Did you know that our leadership team takes and goes to training throughout their time volunteering, to make them more effective leaders?
Today, our Cubmaster, Ms. Dee, attended University of Scouting where she earned her Master's Degree in Cub Scouting! This means she has attended UoS for two years and completed at least 9 classes in the Cub Scout track.
Congratulations, Ms. Dee!
