Head Start protections are at risk, and today is the last day to speak up.

Thank you to the Gettysburg Times for highlighting proposed federal changes that would significantly rewrite Head Start and Early Head Start standards.

The changes could affect critical areas including class size, staffing, health and mental health services, workforce qualifications, transportation and more — with significant implications for the young children and families who rely on these programs.

Public comments are due TODAY, October 6. Your voice can help protect the high-quality, inclusive early learning opportunities Pennsylvania’s children and families deserve.
