Women of Asphalt – Pennsylvania Branch had an amazing time at the Girl Scouts of the Heart of PA Bridging Ceremony! 👷‍♀️💛

Our team—Heather Warner, Donna Sweeney, Kristin Crawford, Sheri Eldredge, and Mary Robbins—engaged over 200 attendees with hands-on activities showcasing how roads are built and why asphalt matters.

The highlight? 🍫 “Pave a Sweet Road”—where participants created edible asphalt and paved their own cupcake roads! Nearly 150 cupcakes later, we had a lot of proud “construction workers” for the day.

We loved seeing families learning together and are excited about the new connections made with organizations interested in bringing this activity to their groups.

A huge THANK YOU to our founding sponsors—Lindy Paving, FORTA, Allan Myers, and Pine Test Equipment—for making outreach like this possible.

Interested in getting involved? We’d love to have you join us!
