Saturday is the Belmont Stakes, and we’re excited to invite all horse racing fans to join us in watching the race together at the Harrisburg Legion! Carla will be mixing up the signature Belmont Jewel cocktail for us to enjoy as we gather for some fun and good company. The race is set to start around 6:00 p.m., so come early and join the fun!

Memorial Day Service and Luncheon 🇺🇸

Don’t forget the Memorial Day Service at 10am at Little Arlington on Monday 5/25 and then come join us at the Harrisburg American Legion Post 167 for lunch afterwards. Everyone is welcome to attend 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Join us this Memorial Day, May 25th, in honoring those that have sacrificed so much for our country, our freedom and our lives. Service will begin at 10am at Little Arlington. A luncheon will be held at the Harrisburg Legion following the service.

Come get your poppy! 🌺

When: Saturday, May 16th

Where: Harrisburg Kroger
Why: To support local veterans

The Post 167 Auxiliary will be in front of Harrisburg Kroger on Saturday, May 16th from 7am to 1pm to collect donations for National Poppy Day. The red poppy honors fallen soldiers and the sacrifices of ALL military personnel. Donations from poppy distribution support local veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.

Launch That Business is a no-cost, 11-week workshop series designed specifically to help Veterans turn business ideas into action—or strengthen businesses already in progress. The program provides structure, accountability, and peer support in a setting that understands the Veteran experience.

🕔 Time: 5:00 – 7:00 pm
📍 Format: Online or In-Person (Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center)
🎉 Graduation & Spotlight Celebration: Tuesday, April 28 | 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Over the 11 weeks, participating Veterans will:
Connect with other Veteran entrepreneurs
Set clear, achievable business goals
Receive guidance and accountability to stay moving forward
Build momentum and confidence to continue beyond the program

If you know Veterans who are considering entrepreneurship—or who may benefit from focused business guidance and a supportive peer community—we would greatly appreciate you sharing this opportunity with them.
