Hudson Valley Blessing Bag Initiative Have you heard of Blessing Bags? I am starting this group event that will be ongoing. We will periodically post about specific needs in the community.

The goal is to help out a variety of people in our area. I am starting this group event that will be ongoing for all of 2016. The goal is to help others who are faced with tough situations. I will be collecting toiletries for women/men to deliver to charitiable organizations in the lower hudson valley region. I have a nice collection started, and i'm in need of specific things to put into a blessi

ng bag that will go to a person in need/homeless. Here is the list:
*travel size or hotel shampoos/soaps
*white socks (new)
*deodorant (can be sample/travel size
*bandaids
*toothpaste/tooth brushes
*panty liners
*disposable razors
* emory boards
*gum/snack size chocolate individually wrapped candy

I am so excited to get this going...thanking you all in advance for any donations you may want to share. In addition, I will also be accepting coupons to be able to purchase more of these items. Please drop off donations at my house/front steps where there will be a bin set up. Love to all!

BLESSING BASKET ANGELS...HOW CAN WE THANK YOU

Dear fellow neighbors and friends,
I am thrilled to report that we collected a total of 30 baskets for local families. I can only imagine what a difference this made to these folks who need a little help right now. Many thanks to helpers at St. Anastasia and Sacred Heart for taking care of distribution.

It was also very nice to meet you all in person at each venue! There are others who stepped up and didn't provide an email AND YET, we need to thank you for your contributions. Thanks to our hosts M&T Bank and Hudson's Ice Cream for doing such an amazing job and for stepping up to be involved in this special initiative. We hope you will join us again in future events and fun happenings.

As a thank you, I will be entering your names into a drawing for 4 tickets to The Chocolate Expo Hudson Valley Holiday Edition, which will take place on Sunday, December 10th, from 10am-6pm at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center in Newburgh, NY.

It is a really fun experience with lots to see and do for all ages. Winner will be announced by email on Friday December 8th by email. Check your inboxes and junk folders!
