We all remember wonderful moments and try to forget the painful ones.
Tomorrow we are going to continue our way through Genesis and learning more about Jacob and his family. His family tree is messy and full of jealousy and hurt feelings.
Yet through it all, God's love and blessing are steadfast.

It can be a few easy moments before it is answered.
It can be long, hard years of waiting.

Through it all, God is with us.
He is sending us beautiful things to show us His love in the waiting.
Prayer is beautiful, hard, daring.

After a few weeks off, we are jumping back into our Bible stories. Abraham is now very, very old and his son Isaac needs a wife. Tomorrow we will find out how God continues to bless Abraham's family.
