Thank you for taking a few minutes to learn about why I am running for
re-election of Seat 2 on the Harrah School Board. My “why” is my driving force behind my decisions. These kids are my why.
My wife and I have lived in Harrah since 2006, and soon after, started our family of now 3 growing kids. I am a chiropractor, business owner and investor, a graduate of Parker College and West Texas A&M, a collegiate hurdler, and football and basketball enthusiast.
We have been actively involved in the Harrah school system and community since our oldest started Pre-K, by volunteering for events and activities at every school site. I have talked to teachers in the district, and have seen first hand, the day to day needs and struggles that our students and staff face. I’ve helped set up inflatables at super kids days for the past 10 years, helped build the new ga-ga pit at Russell Babb, carried volleyball nets and soccer goals and cases of water for class parties and concession stands, supported the teachers at the State Capital, and lobbied for the security systems that are now in place at all of our school sites. I care about the education and safety of our kids, and being involved in the district allows me to see and hear for myself about the needs of our students, teachers, coaches, and administrators. It’s more than just attending a monthly meeting for me.
While serving on the school board for the past 2 years, I have learned a lot, and I look forward to continuing to help positively impact the Harrah School District. By having my own kids in the Harrah school system until the year 2030, the decisions I make will personally effect my family, as well as yours. I am asking for your vote at the Feb. 14th election. If you have any questions, please reach out here. I would be happy to address any concerns.
