🇺🇸 Introducing the Mission Mules 250 Miles for America Challenge 🇺🇸
America is celebrating 250 years of freedom, and we're inviting YOU to join us in a nationwide challenge to make every mile count!
From June 4 through July 4, walk, ride your horse or mule, hike, run, bike, or participate in any activity that helps you cover miles while raising support for Mission Mules!

Our goal is simple:
🐴Cover miles with purpose
🇺🇸 Celebrate America's 250th Birthday
💪Support Mission Mules' disaster preparedness and response efforts

Ask friends, family, churches, businesses, and coworkers to sponsor your miles or make a flat donation. Get a team together for your group, church, or business and log miles TOGETHER! Every dollar raised helps keep our mule string trained, equipped, and ready to respond when communities need help most.
When roads are washed out, bridges are gone, and help can't get through, Mission Mules steps in to deliver supplies, encouragement, and hope.

Raise $250 or more and receive an exclusive 250 Miles for America Challenge T-Shirt!
🌺Challenge Dates: June 4 - July 4
🌺Submit Final Miles & Donations by: July 11

Whether you cover 25 miles or 250 miles, every step, pedal, hoofbeat, and stride helps us prepare for the next call to serve.

Together, let's honor 250 years of American resilience, service, and community.

Smokie is a molly (female) 🫶 and the queen of all of our hearts! She is so special, with the sweetest soul….and has been a beloved part of the family for many years.

Smokie has not only been a riding and pack mule in both the Sierra Nevadas and the Blue Ridge Mountains but has also competed in barrel racing and gymkhana events at mule shows and youth rodeos. Her favorite treat is graham crackers by the campfire!

When you join our Adopt a Mule program, you become part of the mission behind mules like Smokie. Link in the comments below👇

Jeb is a gorgeous bay mule and one of our main saddle mules for the pack string. Jeb was a gift from a retired Marine who had went through a flood in New Bern, North Carolina, a few years ago. Because he wanted him to have a good home where he could be used while he was rebuilding, and since we were training Marines and other special forces, he felt it would be a great fit. 🫡

He has turned out to be one of our best mules. It’s a little ironic that we received him because of a flood, and he was crucial to our relief efforts in the flooding due to Hurricane Helene! Jeb’s favorite treats are Equine Quality Treats!

Through our Adopt-A-Mule program, supporters help provide care, feed, training, and ongoing ministry opportunities for mules like Jeb. Every adoption helps us continue the mission and keep these incredible animals ready to serve when needed most.

🇺🇸 Reflecting on yesterday's activities... We are honored and humbled to have been invited to participate in the NC Memorial Day Parade in Thomasville, North Carolina, recognized as one of the largest In the Southeastern United States. It was a beautiful event honoring our Gold Star families and the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

For 30 years, this special tradition has brought people together to remember, reflect, and give thanks to those who paved the way for all of us.

Mission Mules and Mountain Mule Packers are incredibly grateful to everyone involved in making this day so meaningful, and we loved meeting so many wonderful new faces along the route. Events like this remind us how important community, service, and remembrance truly are. ❤️

To all Gold Star families, we honor your loved ones and carry deep gratitude for their sacrifice. 🇺🇸🐴 🫏
