Yesterday, I had the privilege to attend the .central.k12 job fair. The students engaged with businesses, colleges, and military personnel, it was a wonderful afternoon.
Students asked questions, gained resources, and found potential summer jobs! For any student interested in working at or this summer, be sure to check their job postings across from the office in the high school. Put your resume and cover letter together and either email it to [email protected] or drop it off at Farm Charm (45 Main Ave N) by Fri, April 24.

Thank you to for making the internship program possible through the grants they award these businesses each year!

I had a great time meeting with students today at Fillmore Central High School to kick off the Harmony Internship Program! Remember, these are all PAID positions for the summer!

Students learned about how the program works, important deadlines, and what to expect in the coming weeks. One of the biggest highlights coming up is the Job Fair on Wednesday, April 15 (12:45-3:00) — where students will have the opportunity to meet local business representatives, introduce themselves, and learn more about potential internship opportunities. This is a great chance to make a strong first impression!

After the job fair, students should complete their cover letter and resume and submit them by:
📧 Email: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
📍 OR drop off at Farm Charm (45 Main Ave N) or Charming Farmer Boutique (44 Main Ave N) during business hours

Additional information will be emailed to students in the next few days.

If a student missed the meeting or has any questions, feel free to reach out via email — I’m happy to help!

Let’s make this another great year for the Harmony Internship Program!

Harmony Area Community Foundation is the grant provider for the internship program. Every Harmony business that gets matched with a local student, receives a $500 grant reimbursement through the foundation.
I want to think the foundation board for their continued support of the Harmony Internship Program since 2017.

The internship program helps to bring awareness to job offerings in Harmony, bring students back to the area after completing post, secondary education, and encourage entrepreneurship.

I encourage you to follow the Harmony Area Community Foundation page and support their fundraising efforts so we can continue to offer the internship program as well as all the other ways that they helped to better the Harmony area.

Fillmore Central students: are you thinking about a summer job?

The Harmony Internship Program is coming back for 2026, and it’s a great opportunity to earn money, gain real work experience, and build skills that will help you long after summer ends.

Local businesses right here in Harmony partner with the program to offer positions in a variety of fields — from retail and restaurants to service, manufacturing, and more. The businesses shown here participated last year, and we’re excited to see who will join us again this year.

If you’re interested in working this summer, make sure to attend the Harmony Internship Program meeting on Thursday, April 9, where you’ll learn:
• How the program works
• Which businesses are hiring
• How to apply
• What to expect at the Job Fair

Then join us at the Harmony Internship Program Job Fair on Wednesday, April 15 to meet businesses and explore opportunities.

Parents: this is a great chance for students to gain valuable job and life skills while working with local businesses in our community.

Help us spread the word so every student who wants a summer job hears about this opportunity.

Thank You, Harmony Area Community Foundation!

I want to take a moment to thank the Harmony Area Community Foundation (HACF) for their continued support of the Harmony Internship Program. Each summer, HACF awards a $500 grant to local businesses who employ high school students that have applied through the program—giving our youth the chance to experience a first job, develop life skills, explore potential career paths, and even get a taste of entrepreneurship.

This summer, we are proud to recognize the businesses who stepped up to mentor and employ at least one student intern:

*Miner’s Underground
*Ladd K9
*Harmony Golf Club
*Farm Charm
*Mayer Seed & Solution
*MiBroadband
*Harmony Enterprises

To participate, each business provides a paid summer internship where students learn new skills, earn at least $1,000, and complete the program’s requirements. Thanks to this partnership, our students gain more than just a paycheck—they gain confidence, guidance, and opportunity.

It's a great feeling to live in such a supportive community, where local businesses truly invest in helping our youth excel. Together, we are building a stronger future for Harmony!

This summer, the Harmony Internship Program partnered with Mayer Seed & Solutions, a family-owned business dedicated to serving our local farming community. Interns had the chance to learn more about agronomy services, agriculture operations, and the important role seed and crop solutions play in our area’s economy.

The mission of the Harmony Internship Program is to encourage students to return to Harmony after college, connect them with local career opportunities, and ignite an entrepreneurial mindset for those who may one day run their own business. Partnerships with family-owned businesses like Mayer Seed & Solutions show students the value of local roots and long-term community impact.

We’re thankful for their support and commitment to helping prepare the next generation of leaders.

For your corn and soybean seed needs, along with trusted agronomy services, turn to Mayer Seed & Solutions—a family-owned business invested in your success. Call (507) 273-0684.
