Headed this weekend to join some amazing fly thers at the Dr. Ed Rizzolo Fly Tying Festival. I missed it last year, but it's going to be this year. Bags are packed and ready to tie the Macko Fly. So excited that I packed three days early.

Tying the Original Spoon Fly
On March 8, 2016 Dr. Reynaldo Ramirez will demonstrate how to tie a simple version of a spoon fly. Tyers will leave with a simply constructed spoon fly and a template to tie some more when they get home. Simple to tie, simple to cast, and a sure-fire fish catchin' fly.
The fly tying event will be held at the Bass Pro Shop meeting room next to the bowling alley at 6:30 p.m.
