Rain may have cut the day short, but the energy, smiles, and community made it a great start to Hoop Fest 🏀 Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who came out to support our event!

Another huge thank you to our players and sponsors who continue to make this event a success. This year, we were able to award 8 children with a two-week scholarship to Every Level Basketball camp.

We’re working on rescheduling the rest of the tournament — stay tuned!

Since we have a lot of new followers, we wanted to take a minute to share our story, our mission, and our purpose ❤️

This non-profit foundation was created out of loss, but we wanted to turn it into something that would positively impact our community. At MJC Legacy Foundation, our mission is simple — create opportunities for youth who love the game of basketball as much as Mekhi, but may not have the resources to participate.

We provide scholarships and support to underprivileged boys and girls, helping them gain access to camps, training, and programs that build not just skills on the court, but confidence, discipline, and lifelong lessons off the court.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year, Hoop Fest, is happening next Saturday, May 9th — and every dollar raised goes directly toward giving more kids the chance to play, grow, and thrive through basketball. Whether you come to play or watch, you are making a positive impact in the lives of children who need it the most.

Come out, support, and be part of something bigger. This is more than a tournament. It’s a community coming together to make a difference. 💙

✨RAFFLE BASKETS NEEDED✨

We’re about 2 weeks away from our annual Hoop Fest tournament & we are still in need of a few more raffle baskets! All proceeds from this event help fuel our mission to provide basketball scholarships to young athletes in need of financial support.

We’re hoping to expand our raffle with a few more donations from our amazing community and local businesses. Whether it’s a themed basket (wellness, fitness, self-care, family fun, food & drink) or individual items, every contribution makes a difference. Your donation helps us support boys and girls in our community by providing basketball program scholarships. We’ll be sure to show our appreciation on our website, social media pages and recognition at the event!
