A recent thank-you letter after receiving a care package:

My children received their packages today and we were blown away by them! As a child life specialist I am familiar with a lot of grief resources but had not seen “Hugs from Heaven” and the Snowflake grief activity book. I thought they were great and my children are excited to do the therapeutic activities in all the books and the fun craft kits.

One child received a cat stuffy and the other received a duck. These felt like an extra special ‘Hug From Heaven’ as one child's favorite animal is a cat and before their grandmother died she told them that she would visit them as a quacking duck.

Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and care. Your box brought a lot of sunshine into a hard year for my kids

It’s been a busy few months for the HS team with graduations, family changes etc. But, we are still here filling boxes and reaching out one child at a time. 💙

Happy Father's Day to all dads. 💙

Today we celebrate the fathers who are actively raising their children, the grandfathers who guide generations, the stepfathers and father figures who show up with love, and the dads-to-be dreaming of the future.

We also hold space for the fathers whose hearts carry a different kind of love—the dads who have lost a child, those who carry cherished memories, and those whose children are no longer physically with them. A father's love never ends, and neither does the bond he shares with his child.

Wishing comfort, love, and peace to every father today. Your love, sacrifice, strength, and devotion matter, and you are seen. ❤️
