New research is shedding light on an often-overlooked aspect of journalism: the long-term mental health impact of reporting from war zones.

Dr. Anthony Feinstein, working with The Global Center for Journalism and Trauma Research Director Dr. Elana Newman and Executive Director Bruce Shapiro, has published the first longitudinal study of the lifetime mental health of journalists who cover war.

Thank you to the Knight Foundation and MacArthur Foundation for funding this essential research.
