🌟 Member Spotlight🌟

This week, we're excited to shine the spotlight on Jordan!

Jordan has been a part of the Concerned, Inc. family since 2010. He attends our Adult Day Services (ADS) program and also lives in one of our waiver homes.

Jordan has an adventurous spirit and loves spending time outside with his friends, going on outings, and trying new experiences. He's also the DJ of ADS, always choosing the best music to keep everyone dancing, smiling, and having fun! 🎶🕺

He has a wonderful sense of humor and loves pulling harmless pranks on new staff, keeping everyone laughing. He also has a passion for classic cars and is a proud Iowa Hawkeyes fan! 🖤💛

Jordan brings so much joy to those around him with his playful personality, love of music, and adventurous nature. We are grateful to have him as part of the Concerned, Inc. family and love seeing him enjoy each day to the fullest.

🌟 Member Spotlight🌟

This week, we're excited to introduce Jeff!

Jeff joined the Concerned, Inc. family in December 2025 and participates in our Adult Day Services program. Since joining, he has become a wonderful addition to our program with his friendly personality and kind heart.

Jeff enjoys visiting with friends, playing games, and especially loves showing off his magic card tricks! His sense of humor and positive attitude bring smiles to everyone around him.

Recently, Jeff reached another exciting milestone by moving into one of our waiver homes. We are so proud of him as he continues this new chapter and grows in his independence with the support of our team.

We're grateful to have Jeff as part of the Concerned, Inc. family and can't wait to see all he accomplishes in the future.

🌟 Member Spotlight🌟

Today, we're excited to shine the spotlight on Kurt! 😎

Kurt has been a valued member of the Concerned, Inc. family since 1994 and currently participates in our Adult Day Services program. For over 30 years, Kurt has brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of Packers pride to those around him!

By special request, Kurt rocked his shades for his photo shoot, and we think he looked pretty cool! 😎

Kurt is a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan and proudly shows his team spirit in everything he does. In fact, many of his craft projects are painted in yellow and green to represent his favorite team. 💚💛

When he's not cheering on the Packers, Kurt enjoys visiting the zoo and spending time at Little George Pond, where he especially loves watching the geese. He also enjoys playing cards, spending time with friends, and participating in activities at Adult Day Services.

Kurt's unique personality, sense of humor, and unwavering Packers loyalty make him one of a kind. We are so grateful for the many years he has spent with Concerned, Inc. and for the joy he brings to everyone around him.

🌟 Member Spotlight🌟

This week, we are excited to introduce Zoey!

Zoey recently joined our Adult Day Services program, and we are so happy to have her as part of the Concerned, Inc. family. She has quickly become involved in activities and enjoys spending time with friends and participating in community outings.

Zoey loves going on adventures, having picnics, playing games, and showing off her competitive side with a good game of Skip-Bo! She also enjoys diamond painting, which allows her creativity and attention to detail to shine.

We are excited to see all of the friendships, memories, and experiences Zoey will make as part of Adult Day Services. Her enthusiasm and love for having fun make her a wonderful addition to our program!

Our Adult Day Services members had a wonderful time enjoying one of everyone's favorite treats—S'MORES! 😊

There’s nothing better than gathering together with friends, sharing laughs, and creating sweet memories while enjoying gooey marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. Activities like these provide opportunities for socialization, community, and lots of fun!

A big thank you to our amazing staff who help make these special moments possible. Seeing the smiles on our members' faces is what it's all about!

🌟 Member Spotlight🌟

This week, we are excited to shine the spotlight on Jacob!

Jacob has been a valued member of the Concerned, Inc. family since 2016 and participates in our Adult Day Services program. He brings joy and enthusiasm to those around him and enjoys staying active and involved in his community.

Jacob loves volunteering at Head Start and enjoys expressing his creativity through coloring, painting, and gardening. He also has a passion for music and loves to sing, dance, and spend time with friends.

In addition to his many hobbies, Jacob is an active participant in Special Olympics. He proudly competes in basketball, bowling, and track, demonstrating great sportsmanship, determination, and teamwork.

Jacob's kind heart, positive attitude, and willingness to try new things make him a wonderful part of the Concerned, Inc. family. We are proud of all he has accomplished and are grateful to have him as part of our programs.

🤸‍♂️✨ Last Week's Adventure at the Trampoline Park! ✨🤸‍♀️

Our Adult Day Services members had an absolute blast during their outing to the trampoline park last week! From jumping and playing to sharing laughs and making memories with friends, everyone had a great time enjoying an active day out in the community.

Seeing all the smiles and excitement made the day even more special!

🌟 Member Spotlight🌟

This week, we are excited to shine the spotlight on Melinda!

Melinda has been a valued part of the Concerned, Inc. family since 2003. She participates in both our Adult Day Services and Hourly Services programs and brings so much creativity and positivity wherever she goes.

One of Melinda's greatest strengths is her imagination and ability to think outside the box. She is always coming up with new ideas and enjoys sharing them with others. Her creativity and unique perspective make her a wonderful friend and an important part of our Concerned, Inc. community.

We are grateful for the joy, enthusiasm, and inspiration Melinda brings to those around her each day. Thank you, Melinda, for being such a special part of Concerned, Inc.!

Last week, our members had a wonderful time at the Harlan Theatre as part of the summer movie program! 🍿🎬

We are so grateful to the Harlan Theatre for providing this opportunity each summer and giving our members a chance to enjoy a fun morning at the movies!
