As part of the Vision XXI program, we had the opportunity to interview the team at Grizzly’s Hidden Falls Nursery about the Kern Park Pollinator Garden Project 🌿🐝

This project highlights the importance of sustainability, community involvement, and environmental stewardship. During our conversation, we explored how pollinator gardens support local ecosystems, the thoughtful planning behind plant selection, and the long-term impact this space will have for both wildlife and the community.

The Kern Park Pollinator Garden is a great example of how collaborative efforts can create meaningful change bringing together education, conservation, and community pride.

Vision XXI is working to create a space that:

• Creates a peaceful space families can enjoy

Our Vision XXI class had an incredible day at the Texas State Capitol, gaining firsthand insight into leadership, public service, and the inner workings of our state government.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with our class and share their knowledge, experiences, and leadership journeys. Your willingness to engage, educate, and inspire made this day truly meaningful for our participants.

A special thank you to Senator Pete Flores, Representative Hillary Hickland, John Messinger with the Office of the State Prosecuting Attorney, Joel Pardue with the Governor’s Appointment Office, and the team at Oncor Electric for your hospitality and informative presentation.
