News related to three new presumptive conditions associated with service in Vietnam related to possible Agent Orange exposure. Also, the VA Secretary has stated a new list is being compiled for presumptive condition for Post 9/11 Veterans related to ashtma/respiratory problems possibly related to burn pits other poor air quality conditions. The article posted below provides the necessary guidance. Please- if you know of someone or a family who have since loss a warrior inform them.

Learning to calm yourself in the midst of a storm is the result of our experiences. Challenging times makes us develop a depression resistant mindset. Stress is not always a bad thing, but learning to talk to our fearful, anxious brain will result in us being able to talk to ourselves in the storm. The Lord’s example is to “be still and know that I am God!!” Wherever you are today, valley or mountain know you have within you everything you need to take the next step. Choose You!!

Today I challenge us to look forward with hope and passion for what is NOW and what is to come. The rearview mirror reminds us of our journey, but we glance at it to keep moving forward. I refuse to be blinded by my past- the celebration is our ability to endure. Trust in your faith (Mark 10:52) because it has healed you. What change do you celebrate for yourself today?

Thoughts from earlier today!! If you are in your season of pruning, regrowth, rebirth- be patient with yourself. You will be even stronger, not able to be swayed by the wind. The vinedresser is in control and their is nothing that is too hard for God!!

Pruning is necessary to keep the vine healthy and to allow it to grow more and more fruit. Have you felt lately like it is your pruning season? Is your life too full? When things feel overwhelming and stressful, stop - take a breath and listen. ** Avoid guilt, get accountable with yourself and know your strengths. Choose You!!!!
