🦌 2026 SHIELD Outdoors Youth Hunting Weekend
Some memories are measured in inches.
The best ones are measured in moments.
This past weekend, several young hunters and their dads headed into the woods for SHIELD Outdoors Youth Hunting Weekend—and made the most of every minute.
There were early mornings.
There were late nights.
There were long sits.
There were big smiles.
There were lessons learned.
There were stories told around the camp.
And, yes… there were a few deer that made it home too. 🦌
But what happened in the woods this weekend was about something bigger than the hunt.
It was about dads making time.
It was about kids learning patience, responsibility, and respect for the outdoors.
It was about passing something down to the next generation.
And it was about creating the kind of memories that these kids will carry with them long after the camouflage is packed away.
The goal isn't just to raise the next generation of hunters. It's to raise the next generation of men and women who know the value of faith, family, friendship, hard work, and the great outdoors.
The woods have a way of teaching us things that can't be learned anywhere else.
Here's to another Youth Hunting Weekend in the books—and a whole lot of memories that will last a lifetime. 🇺🇸🦌
