We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers at Dominion Care Roanoke for the get-well cards they created for our CEO, Pat Muncy, who is currently battling kidney cancer. She appreciated each and every card and is grateful for all the thoughts and prayers sent by our supporters and donors.

It was pedicure day on Tuesday for some of the herd. Our farrier trimmed Dakota, Luna, Calista, Tinkerbell, Ember, Juliet and Jasper. If you would like to help us with their foot care or sponsor a trim, each trim cost $50. Any amount you are able to donate, helps us with their care. We are so grateful for your support. Had to make a call today. Should we buy 2 weeks' worth of grain or 4 weeks' worth of diesel for the tractors to put out round bales of hay, clean, and brush-hog the paddocks?

Farrier day for Bee-Bee.

Bee-Bee is 33 years old and was an owner release. She stood nicely for the farrier and is a sweetheart. This senior girl is also available for adoption. She would be a great companion horse.

Sweet Lexi was patiently waiting in line for her pedi yesterday.

Lexi arrived in 2017 and is 33 years old. She is an Arabian mare and came to the rescue as an owner release.

Yesterday was farrier day for Hawk, and he stood nicely for his trims.

Hawk has been with us since 2009. He is 21 y/o, blind and came to us as an owner release. This friendly fella gets along with others, blind or sighted. He is available for adoption.

Yesterday was farrier day for Trigger and is relaxing after his spa treatment.

Trigger is 18 years old. He is a part of our disabled mini herd. He is unable to walk normally due to a hoof and leg deformity.
