Today was a sad day as we liquidated the store. We had so hoped that the company would change their minds about stopping donations but that obviously isnt in the cards. It was a blast while it lasted, we have now provided 15 dogs to veterans who suffer from PTSD. We couldn't have done this with out you. As Cody's mom, I truly thank you from the depths of my heart. It's so good to be home again and to be a part of this wonderful community. I wouldn't live anywhere else. I thank each of you for your support. We've shared memories, laughter and tears. We've brought together our families and friends and all those who knew Cody and suffered his loss. Thank you for loving him like you did and for helping me keep his memory alive. Cody's Cause will continue forward to help our veterans and I pray you will continue to show your support because this is truly working. I hope to see you at our annual ride on August 19th. There will be BBQ, music, raffles and an auction. Come celebrate Cody's life as this falls on the 4th anniversary of his death. He would want us to celebrate in no other way than to "Go Big or Go Home" as he would say. Again, thank you for your support. I love you all.

Today, the Walnut Grove Baptist Church presented Cody's Cause with a check for $1,864.41!!! More than $500 over their goal! This small little church and their vacation Bible school program has been so inspiring! They have renewed my faith and empowered me to do more than ever!! We can't thank you enough for selecting Cody's Cause as the recipient of your generous offering! Your program is phenomenal and I can only pray that other religious organizations will follow your lead in teaching our children love, patience, forgiveness and giving. As Cody's mom, I thank you from the depths of my heart. I've never felt more at home or more welcome. All of you are truly amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
