Kevin has been an active part of KYAMA for years, sharing his knowledge, supporting our members, and helping strengthen the air medical community across Kentucky. His passion for leadership, safety, and patient care has made a lasting impact on so many of us.

Today, the Kentucky Air Medical Association joins countless others in mourning the loss of our friend, Dale Dobson.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some don’t wear flight suits or drive big trucks with flashing lights. Some wear work boots and spend a lifetime ensuring others return home safely.

Dale was one of those heroes.

A farmer by trade and a servant at heart, Dale dedicated his life to protecting Kentucky’s farming communities. His passion for farm safety was unmatched. For decades, he trained first responders, educated farmers of all ages, inspired the next generation of agricultural leaders, and created a nationally recognized farmer wellness program that has undoubtedly saved lives across the Commonwealth.

Dale loved people, and he loved Kentucky. His willingness to share his knowledge, encourage others, and advocate for the health and safety of those who work the land left an impact that cannot be measured.

Today, there is a hole in our hearts, but Dale’s legacy lives on through the thousands of lives he touched, the responders he educated, and the countless families who are safer because of his life’s work.

On behalf of the Kentucky Air Medical Association, we extend our deepest condolences to Dale’s family, friends, and everyone blessed to know him. Thank you, Dale, for your unwavering commitment to serving others and for making Kentucky a safer place for us all.

Your impact is immeasurable, your legacy enduring, and your memory will continue to inspire all of us.
