All basketball aside, Covenant Hoops wants to share our condolences out to the bereaved families of the victims on 563 this past weekend. Being residents of this community, we are deeply hurt and sorrowful at this moment in time, and we are extremely saddened by the tremendous loss this community has suffered.

Our program has kids from LISD and surrounding areas who were hit close to home by this tragedy, and we just ask that anyone who is willing, lift them as well as the families up in prayer as they navigate continuing on with the loss of their beloved friends, classmates, etc. We believe in this program that God is a comforter and near to the brokenhearted, and that He will give us peace that surpasses all understanding. Prayer is our best friend and faith is like a brother during these trying times.
