Calhoun Entertainment Company Community Theater Calhoun Entertainment Company Community Theater is a not for profit organizations. Jerry Sievers is our director.

Calhoun Entertainment Company (CEC) has been performing musicals and other productions since the spring of 1989. It is a not-for-profit organization that finds a place for all that wish to participate. As this is a small community, most musical/drama programs have been cut in the schools so the CEC serves as the only avenue for the young or young at heart to perform. We also perform Christmas Seas

on concerts and have a Jamboree Show. The money made from our Jamboree helps to finance our spring musical.

Cast list is out!! Thank you to everyone who auditioned! Due to proprietary reasons, we cannot advertise the show just yet, which means we cannot announce the NAME of the show...yet. This means we also cannot announce the list that includes character names at this time. But let's give it up for our amazing actors!

We are looking for talented individuals that are interested in participating in the Talent Show this year.

Our talent show will take place Thursday, September 10 at 7PM at the grandstand on the fairgrounds.

Winners will receive a monetary prize, trophy, and perform at the State Talent Show to be held in Springfield, IL in January 2027.

The talent show is open to all Illinois residents and has a junior division for ages up to and including 14 and Senior division for ages 15-21.
