Swim training in Lake Michigan for the 2026 Coastal Crawl will now be delayed until further notice!. Or Summer. Whichever comes first. 🤪

Registration will be open Feb 1. Coastal Crawl will take place Aug 2, 2026. 😍

The Organizing Committee for the Crawl gathered in Zorn Park to set up the race venue. A good time was had by all.

Rachel Roon, heads of HS Parks &Rec has checked out the beach and park for the Coastal Crawl. All spruced up and ready for swimmers and fans. State water inspectors were out Monday to take water samples. Water quality excellent for open water swimming.

Under the watchful eyes of City Lifeguard, Laurel, a test was made for accurate water temp. Swimmer, Gabby went just off the swim platform at City Beach. Water temperature there is confirmed at 72.6F. Right at the starting gate for the Coastal Crawl. 5 days til race day!!!
