Outer Banks Entrepreneurs - Tidewater is the area’s Premier Women's Mastermind, Networking, and Referral organization comprised of female Artists, Business Professionals, Crafters, Direct Salespersons, Non- Profit Organizations and Service Providers. Some of our members are Independent professionals or represent family owned businesses, while others represent large corporations. Each member is the
only representative of their business. Members are not competing against each other for leads. We meet once per month to share ideas, discuss marketing strategies, and offer referrals. During our Mastermind session of the meeting, the agenda belongs to the group, and your participation is key. Peer advice will be shared on business ideas and marketing, along with exposure to resources other members are using. The group will offer feedback and brainstorm for new ideas. This Mastermind session can bring resources and connections to the table you might not have had on your own. We intend to create a group of supportive women who will brainstorm together to move your business to new heights. During the Networking session of the agenda, we will focus on building relationships among our members in order to build each member's businesses. To facilitate this, once per month, in addition to our monthly meeting, we will offer a Member Spotlight Night, where one member hosts the other members in the setting of their choice and showcases their business to the group in whatever format they choose. We offer this event each month to our members so they may learn and understand more about each member's business, make it easier to exchange and share referrals, and to just have time to socialize and form better relationships. During the Referral session of the agenda, we will share success stories and give appreciation to the members that have offered referrals within the group. We will strive to invoke the simple concept of helping yourself by helping others. Our membership will lack the fines, quotas and penalties that many other referral groups use. We do require that all members carry a business card holder which will hold all member cards. We will strive to promote each other every day through personal contact and relationships. Our meeting format will include a Welcome and an Introduction of new members to the group, followed by an Introduction session where each member will have up to three minutes to talk about their business. We will then announce the Member Spotlight Night for the following month, followed by the Mastermind Session. During the Networking Session, we will spend a small amount of time just socializing, before moving on to the Referral section of the agenda. There is a two hour time limit to our meetings, but we welcome members to stay afterwards and socialize.
