DELTA LIONS CLUB IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS WHO WANT TO HELP THOSE IN NEED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY! WE PROVIDE VISION SCREENINGS FOR CHILDREN THROUGH OUR CUB SIGHT PROGRAM IN DAYCARE THROUGH 1St GRADE. HOPING TO CATCH EYE PROBLEMS AT AN EARLY AGE IN A CHILD’S LIFE. WE DONATE TO SEVERAL AGENCIES IN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH OUR FUNDRAISERS. WE HAVE TWO STATE WIDE PROJECTS THE LOUISIANA CRIPPLE CHILDERNS CAMP AND THE LOUISIANA LIONS EYE FOUNDATION. INTERNATIONALLY LIONS AROUND THE WORLD HELP IN SO MANY WAYS: DISASTERS, MEASLES, RIVER BLINDNESS, GLASSES, EXAMS, HEARING AIDS…….
IF YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY HELPS ALONG THE WAY, PLEASE CONTACT ME WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR JUST ONE MORE LION. WE MEET ONCE A MONTH ON THE FIRST TUESDAY. ONLY ASK THAT YOU GIVE WHAT TIME YOU CAN.
