We had such a great time at our Toyota of Gladstone back pack distribution and we are getting ready for our main distribution in Clackamas this Friday. All of our slots for families receiving backpacks have been filled but we still need VOLUNTEERS.

❄ Inclement Weather Shelters may activate beds in coordination with Multnomah County and accept participants when:
- Forecasted temperature of 25° F (-3.9° C) or below; or
- Forecasted snow accumulations of 1.0 inch or more; or
- Forecasted temperature at or below 32° F (0° C) with driving rain of 1.0 inch or more overnight.
❄ Shelters will remain open 24 hours throughout the severe weather event. Hot meals are provided for guests, no one will be turned away, and pets are okay.
❄ If someone outside is unsheltered and whose life appears to be in danger, call 9-1-1. Otherwise, if you see someone about whom you are concerned during cold weather call the police non-emergency number at 503-629-0111 and request a welfare check.

☀️🔥 Our neighbors are feeling the heat, and The Salvation Army has mobilized. 💧❄️ Our staff and volunteers have been handing out cold water bottles to keep everyone hydrated and help cool off. Our doors are also open at Portland Metro locations and the Salem Kroc Center, offering a cool space from the scorching sun. Let's stay united and make a difference together! ☀️🤝❤️
