Congratulations to the family, welcome to the world!
Great teamwork by FF Harris, FF Adams, FF Silva, and FF McKale

Tonight, the Hanson Fire Department had one of the most rewarding calls in our line of work.

Crews were dispatched to a local residence for a mother in active labor. Ambulance 2 quickly responded to the scene. Meanwhile, Ambulance 1, which was returning from a separate emergency, diverted providing immediate backup.

En route to the hospital, our crews successfully delivered a healthy baby boy right in the back of the ambulance!

We want to extend a massive congratulations to the family on their beautiful new addition. Welcome to the world, little guy!

We are incredibly proud of the seamless teamwork, quick thinking, and professionalism displayed by our members tonight: FF Harris, FF Adams, FF Silva, and FF McKale.

Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and Marshfield Firefighters Local 2568 as they honor the life of Captain William Shields.

Today, Hanson Fire Engine 1 is providing coverage for the Town of Marshfield, allowing members of the Marshfield Fire Department to attend the services and honor the life and service of Captain William Shields.

Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with Captain Shields’ family, friends, and the entire Marshfield Fire Department during this difficult time.

🚨Structure Fire🚨

Hanson Firefighters are currently on scene of a reported structure fire at 352 Main St.

At the time of the initial dispatch, Hanson Engine 1 was providing mutual aid in Halifax for a separate incident. Hanson Engine 2 responded immediately to the scene. Engine 1 has since cleared the Halifax incident and joined operations on Main St.

Additional mutual aid units from surrounding towns are en route to assist.

Please avoid the area to allow emergency personnel clear access to the scene.

Today we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice

Members of Hanson Firefighters Local 2713 were honored to stand with our brothers and sisters of the Boston Fire Department today to pay our final respects to Firefighter Robert "Bobby" Kilduff Jr.

It is a true testament to the brotherhood of the fire service that our members were proud to join departments from across the country, to honor a hero who gave everything for his city. Our deepest condolences remain with the Kilduff family and the men and women of the BFD.
