Yesterday, on Memorial Day, we honored and remembered the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸❤️

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a time to reflect on the courage, service, and freedom we are blessed with because of our heroes. Thinking especially of all military families today and remembering those who are no longer with us.

A special remembrance to my papa who was a United States Navy Veteran in the Vietnam War. He passed away earlier this month after battling kidney failure and other ongoing health issues. Thank you for your dedicated service to our country!

Today, I attended the annual fire safety day in Fitchburg Massachusetts at the Fitchburg Fire/Rescue Headquarters! I got to tour a mobile command unit, which I’ve never seen before, go into a fire demonstration house and got to learn about fire safety and how to exit a house safely when there’s a fire! Thank you to Operation Service for inviting me to this event today!

My name is Haylee Clogston, I’m currently Miss Massachusetts Military Star 2026!
I’m so excited to share that I’m on my journey to compete in Miss Military Star Nationals, and this opportunity means so much to me on a personal level. 🇺🇸
My Dad is a 32-year Army veteran, and growing up in a military family has shaped who I am today. It’s taught me the importance of service, strength, and giving back to those who sacrifice so much for our country. Being able to represent and support the military community through this pageant is truly an honor.
To help get there, with the help from local businesses, I’m hosting a Gift Card Cash Calendar for the month of May. Each entry gives you a chance to win a gift card every day, while also supporting my journey to nationals.
Tickets are $10 and the funds that I raise will go directly to helping me get to nationals in Harrisburg Pennsylvania in June!

Hi everyone, I know it’s been a while since I’ve last posted but I have been keeping myself busy with work and life! Over the holiday season I was busy with Operation Service Wreaths Across America The Salvation Army, Newburyport Massachusetts Salisbury Beach Carousel giving back to my local community and the veterans and their families all over New England!

At the Salvation Army, I helped families pick out the perfect Christmas gifts in the Santa’s toy shop, with Operation Service, I helped military families pick out Christmas trees. I was out laying wreaths on veterans graves on national Wreaths Across America day and I attended the annual sea festival of trees in Salisbury as well as the festival of wreaths at the Salisbury beach carousel and so much more!

With how crazy the holiday season was this year for me, I apologize for not being as active on here as I would’ve liked to be, but over the next coming months going into nationals I will be more active and posting all the fun activities and opportunities I will be doing!

Today I participated in Wreaths Across America
In Byfield, Ma where I helped lay wreaths on Veterans graves. This is my second year being apart of something so wonderful! This is the second year that I’ve attended with my Dad who is an Army Veteran! We went to two different cemeteries and helped lay wreath’s! This event is always so heartwarming seeing the community come together to remember those who have fought for our country!

On Thursday, I partnered up with Boston Bruins Foundation and Operation Service to distribute Christmas trees to the Military service members and their families at Hanscom Air Force Base. I’ve been a part of operation service for 2 years now and to be able to continually give back to the veterans in this way is very heartwarming and holds a special place in my heart!
To date, over 1,030 Christmas trees have been distributed to military members and their families!

I hope to be able to come back next year and continue to pay it forward!

Last week, I attended my hometown christmas tree lighting. I attend this every year and love seeing the outpour of people from my community show up to support the town! Thank you to the town of Salisbury for always putting on a fantastic Christmas tree lighting!
